The API allows you to use Taptu’s award winning search technology to enable your users to search your site and its content. The search box and results are presented on your site. We uniquely enable you to choose what results are returned to users, using your own chosen ranking critieria.

Optionally you can also display results from Taptu’s own mobile index if you wish to add more content to your own sites results. Results are returned quickly and efficiently in XML so that you can display them in your own style.

You can also earn money by partnering with Taptu. Along with search results, we return sponsored links (relevant text ads) for your users. These ad links are paid by advertisers on a pay per click (PPC) basis when users click on sponsored links. We then share the revenue we receive for the ads with you, the publisher.

The API is simple to use and as long as you serve ads, it’s completely free to use.
