Mobile Internet Traffic Guru - Want to work for Taptu?
Taptu is a new mobile search engine with an innovative approach to this fast changing sector. Taptu helps people find cool content like music, video, images on their mobile phones super-fast - and share it with their friends.
We’re still relatively young but growing rapidly and have some exciting plans for the future. We now need someone to help grow our international user base and help make Taptu even better by analysing existing user behaviour.
We’re looking for someone with online advertising experience, most likely you’ve been doing this stuff for an online web brand. You will have knowledge of pay-per-click, know your cookies from your custard creams, and CTRs from CPCs.
Online Industry experience is essential (mobile isn’t) but we really care more about your enthusiasm for this work. You will be working in the Commercial Team and under the guidance of the Head of Marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement and measuring the effectiveness of mobile acquisition campaigns using mobile advertising networks and other digital channels.
- From creative development, copy writing to bid optimization
- Collaboration with media agencies and advertising partners
- Providing campaign reports to commercial teams and the Board
- Managing and monitoring online marketing budgets and forecasts
- Providing broader analysis of Taptu’s traffic and fan base on an ad-hoc basis
Candidate Requirements:
- Highly numerate with strong analytical skills
- Spreadsheet Jockey (comfortable using Excel)
- Creative and entrepreneurial approach
- Must have experience of using online advertising programs (e.g. Google AdWords)
- Ideally have knowledge of web based measurement and tracking techniques
- Minimum 6 months online/industrial experience
- Can hold their own in a Mario Kart race
